Who is Stefan Claypool?
I'm Stefan Claypool, a twenty-one year old college student from the American Midwest preparing to enter the fourth and final year of my education at Middlebury College. It is no exaggeration to say that I was in some respects born into the Republican Party. But as I have grown older, my conservative values have been reinforced by both my own life experiences and my studies of American history, politics, and economics.
I have always been a conservative, but it wasn't until I matriculated to Middlebury College and found myself constantly surrounded by left-wingers that I realized just how helpful it would be to write my opinions out instead of keeping them bottled up inside me. Thus was born the Diaries of a Young Middlebury Republican, now MiddleburyRepublican.com, dedicated to exposing liberal lunacy and promoting the conservative cause.
For the summer of 2008, MiddleburyRepublican.com is dedicated to chronicling my experiences as intern at the Republican National Committee in Washington DC. I hope you enjoy reading about my adventures, and, of course, I encourage you to vote Republican this fall. Hopefully after you spend some here, you'll understand why you should.
