Today I received and installed my way cool Apple LED Cinema Display. What an amazing piece of technology. Installation, in the typical Apple fashion, consisted of plugging the unit into the wall and my MacBook Pro. I fired up Pro Tools, opened a working session, drug the edit window to the Cinema Display and left the mix display on the MacBook Pro. Voila, in business. For giggles I zoomed a waveform to its maximum size on the Cinema Display and was amazed at the detail I can see. Most excellent!
