Flash player, second survey, and LGA
This afternoon I extracted the 30 second excerpts from each of the 18 songs on One Feather Shy. Configuring the flash player was a breeze, following yesterday's test, and we're live and online at both LorenClaypool.com and the Clayphonic RecordsTM online music store. Most excellent.
Following the successful launch of the excerpt player, I fired off the second survey to members of the mailing list, complete with another contest. I look forward to reviewing the results of both surveys in a week.
From the pleasant surprise department, I was trolling through the new and improved Los Gauchos Alemanes site this evening, enjoying the complete makeover that was launched along with the release of Los Gauchos Alemanes - Commendatore. Long time readers of my blog know that LGA is one of my favorite bands and a huge influence on what I do with my music. Imagine my surprise when I discovered "One Feather Shy by Loren Claypool" under the heading "We recommend to buy these three new releases!" on the LGA news page! I'm stunned and delighted! Continued exploration yielded a link to my website on the LGA links page, along with a few of my favorite artists. Most excellent, indeed.
