Let's see if this works...
Thanks for hooking me up, Loren - looking forward to our October meeting, and I'm sure I'll have questions before then.
2007 rehearsal schedule
The rehearsal schedule for 2007 has been posted on the events calendar.
Myspace site
The myspace site is launched and available.
Music page updated
Improv I - 061209 and Improv II - 061209 have been added to the music page. The page itself has been tidied up and the mp3 tags have been updated on all pieces, as well.
The glamor behind the performance
I've posted a picture in the photo section, one taken prior to the team's performance on December 9th as we tuned up and warmed up. The shot was taken in the nearest thing we had to a green room, the hallway just outside of the men's room! Ah, the glamorous life of the performing musician!

Perchance to Dream
I've been babbling about it for months now. One morning in mid-August, while on my way to Circle, a simple guitar riff downloaded into my brain. I managed to remember it, in case we got around to groove looping that week. Since then, it has grown, seizing control of my every waking moment, as these things often do. Ever the opportunist, I decided to make it my class project for the Creative Way course. Inasmuch as the course ends tomorrow, I had to finish it today. And, against all odds, did. Enjoy.
Perchance to Dream.mp3
Be advised it is a rather large file, and probably best downloaded if you are on dial-up (right click "Save Target As..."). All NST except the last solo, and that could have just as easily been - the Heritage was picked for its tone, rather than its tuning.

Photos online
I've added a few of Adrian's excellent photographs from the Collin, Tom, and John performance at Hoghead McDunna's on October 2, 2005.
Kiel anyone?
Folks,
In a couple of recent emails Hernan Nunez has invited the Circle to participate in a Winter Project in Kiel! Excerpts from the two emails include -
Any chance for The Guitar Circle Of Chicago to visit us in the GC House Kiel? We'll hold a Winter Project here next January, which includes writing and recording.
and
The Italian, British and Mexican Circles visited, and it proved to be very useful to them in terms of Circle Work, group dynamics, playing, calisthenics, etc. Please go ahead and spread the news: you're all most welcome, and a good time is the upcoming Winter Project (GC Intro + Recording Project), dates TBC: Jan 6-21.
What interest and availablity does the Circle have for this work?
Thanks,
Loren
